NASA-PEER at a Glance

What is NASA-PEER?

What is our Goal?

How do we achieve our goal?

NASA-PEER is a holistic mentorship, professional development, and support program for post-bac researchers based at NASA Goddard.

Help post-bac researchers become better prepared for the next steps in their career through four main areas:

  • mentoring,
  • networking,
  • skill building, and
  • preparing for graduate school or the job market.

Prepare post-bac researchers for their ideal career goals, we provide programming related to graduate school and job applications, professional skill development, resilience, presentation skills, and much more. In addition to targeted programming, post-bacs in NASA-PEER are matched into constellations, with approximately 3 post-bacs and 3 early career researchers, along multiple axes of interest, enabling a “kick-start” to the post-bac’s mentor network at GSFC and throughout their career.
